The Pauldron Wooden Stock Kit is designed for wooden butt rifles and is tested to remove up to 85% of felt recoil. 

To use a wooden stock kit, your rifle may need to be customized. At the time of purchase, please describe your firearm so that our engineers can decide on the next best steps. Please note that the price you pay at the time of purchase only covers the cost of the kit; you will either have to install the kit yourself or ask a professional to do it for an extra charge. 

The pre-assembled spring stacks have been optimized for most popular calibers ranging from .308 and its family of ammunition. Pauldron’s spring technology has been tested to more than 1 million “cycles” without fault meaning the Pauldron will long out last most components on your rifle.

When shouldering the Pauldron, shooters will experience better posture and faster sighting because their body no longer feels or anticipates the massive recoil.
